Steven as a Service came about from a general conversation with a friend.
I was looking for a way to utilise my skills (as separates) so it widened my ability to pick up work (contracts) more readily.
In asking what I should call my business name to represent this, my friend responded with “Steven as a Service”.
I paused and laughed because I loved it!
The next morning I did 2 things:
As the days went by, whilst specifying the skills that I would offer and how, one of the things I was working on came to the forefront.
Building an app that would help consumers.
It became clear that building apps would be the focus of ‘Steven as a Service’ as it was bolstered by my experience as a Project Manager, delivering large scale corporate applications to corporate clients, as well as my ability to code and design technology solutions.
From there the full circle was set – ‘Steven as a Service’ trading in the ‘Software as a Service’ market with the moniker – SaaS which stands for both ‘Steven as a Service’ and ‘Software as a Service’, presented under the web domain name ‘mysaas.website’.
